I am interested in anatomy (skeletal, in particular), secularism, science, intellectual expansion, metaphysical exploration, and issues surrounding gender and identity. I'm an aspiring biological anthropologist, feminist, nature enthusiast, an agnostic and lover of knowledge. This will become more apparent over time.
I hate people, but love persons. I love progressions in technology, but hate what most "progressions" are doing to our ecology. I am a consumer, but dislike the concept of materialism and attachment. I love veg*n food but I am not a veg*n. I think art is virtually useless as a practice, but I appreciate it nonetheless.
I welcome all those who take the time to stop by. Cheers.

Life-Altering Invention of the Day: The Sprayracha is a thing. A thing that actually works. Holy schnikes.
Shannon, from the book Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. done by Tanin at Birch Avenue Tattoo in Flagstaff, AZ.
Holy shit this is amazing. Well thought out and rendered.
Green Emerald moth that visited our bathroom wall the other night. Look at its pink face and outline. It truly looks like a creature out of a fairytale.
Would wear this.
Happy Birthday, Walt Whitman!
Love the earth and sun and the animals,
despise riches, give alms to everyone that asks,
stand up for the stupid and crazy,
devote your income and labor to others,
hate tyrants, argue not concerning God,
have patience and indulgence toward the people,
take off your hat to nothing known or unknown,
or to any man or number of men,
go freely with powerful uneducated persons,
and with the young, and with the mothers or families,
re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book,
and dismiss whatever insults your own soul;
and your very flesh shall be a great poem….
- Walt Whitman
(from the Preface to Leaves of Grass, 1855 edition)
I clearly don’t read enough of his works…
